Thanks again for give me some light!
I understand that The Grip just released one record "Be Yourself".Gunslingers released two records "S/T" and "For My Mom" and Napalm Hearts and Fridayz Angels never released a record(LP).Am i right?
Would like to know what do you think of the Gunslingers records?
-
Can somebody answer my last e-mail please?.I looked around for Napalm Hearts records and found nothing, and i heard there were two bands named Gunslingers?
-
Napalm Hearts appeared on the Rock Pretty Album and put out a demo which I have.
Gunslingers never released anything as far as I know. There was an appearance on a TV show which I also have.
-
I'm not aware of any Gunslingers releases either. The show they were on was ECT - they covered 'Shake Some Action' if I remember correctly.
The Grip were also on ECT - they were last-minute replacements for Hanoi Rocks, who were in the process of splitting up. There are other Grip releases apart from the album too. For example the 'England You're Dead' EP, which I have somewhere at home.
-
Yep I have the England EP, as do some of you on here now (on MP3).
Yeah I have The Grip playing on ECT... 3 songs in all! On an old video tape waiting to put onto DVD! Priceless!!??
Torme, Waysted and the New Torpedos (after Phil Lewis was with Them)
-
Fuck, ECT, what a great show that was! Anyone got any more on vid? I only have the first episode (with Motorhead, Madam X and the Lords Of The New Church).

I recall The Grip also released a couple of singles on Survival records (Quireboys label before emi).
Teenage Bride was the first, and American Dream followed before the band split up.
PS. wasn't Ray Zell in the Marionettes?
-
Hey Roadcrew, I have the said singles.
Anyone heard of a band called The Young Offenders?
Willie produced the band's single and also played and did backing vocals.
I recently got sent the MP3z of the recording. Just wondered what happened to the band.
